Open Doors invites people living in the same local communities to meet, share stories, and build meaningful connections through welcoming exchanges.
Build lasting friendships in a variety of welcoming settings.
Why Open Doors Matters
Open minds, open hearts, open doors
In many local communities, people live close to one another but may never have the chance to meet. Open Doors creates welcoming opportunities for people to connect, share stories, and build understanding.

Our project brings people together within local communities through informal yet meaningful interactions. By organising meetings in homes, community centres, parks, and other public spaces, we create a warm and welcoming environment for connection and dialogue.
This initiative encourages mutual understanding and strengthens bonds within local communities. By participating in Open Doors, you contribute to building a more inclusive and connected society. See how simple conversations can create lasting impact!
What About Dialogue
By “dialogue” we mean action: meaningful interactions and exchanges between people with different experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives who come together through conversations or activities to build understanding and strengthen local communities.

The Dialogue Society seeks to contribute to social cohesion at three different levels: directly bringing different social groups together, empowering others to do the same, and contributing to the development of thought on dialogue and community building.
Who are we?
Open Doors is a pioneering initiative by the Dialogue Society, a registered charity established in London, dedicated to fostering community cohesion.
